GOBO solutions for business

Innovative GOBO solutions for your business

Outdoor GOBO projectors change how you present a brand or an event. Instead of expensive, fixed advertising media you get a dynamic projection in light — legible, flexible and visible from a distance.

They work wherever impact and recognition matter: on building facades, at events, in public space and in outdoor advertising. Below you will find how they work, how to choose a model, typical uses and the questions we hear most often.

How it works

How does a facade projector work?

Outdoor projectors combine LED technology with GOBO templates that pass light through a pattern. The result is a precise image on any surface.

01

GOBO template

A metal or glass template carrying the pattern — a logo, artwork or message — shapes the beam of light.

02

LED source

An efficient, high-brightness LED passes light through the template, producing a sharp, high-contrast image.

03

Projection on a facade

The finished image lands on a facade, pavement or square — legible even from a distance and after dark.

Choosing a device

How do I choose the right model?

An outdoor GOBO projector should be matched to the conditions it will work in. Here are the parameters that matter — and we will help you pick the right device.

Power and brightness

The brighter the surroundings, the more powerful the model. We match brightness to distance and time of day.

Weather resistance

The IP rating decides whether the unit works in rain, snow and frost. Outdoors we use high IP ratings.

Versatile applications

Graphic rotation, interchangeable templates and remote control adapt the unit to many scenarios.

Specifications worth paying attention to

  • LED technology
  • Image rotation function
  • Remote control
  • Wi-Fi and mobile app control

Variants and specifications

Outdoor units carry an IP65 rating, the smallest models IP67. They differ by how many graphics fit inside — which decides whether the message changes automatically or by swapping the insert.

1 image

One insert inside the unit. Changing the message means changing the glass. The cheapest and most common option for a fixed logo.

4 images

Four inserts in a carousel that the unit switches by itself. Good for seasonal messages or several tenants.

7 images

Seven inserts — a full cycle without touching the unit. Used where the content changes often.

Across the range, power starts at 5 W and reaches 1200 W, and the brightest LED sources deliver up to 66,000 lumens. The figures above are the most frequently ordered configurations — if your case falls between them, we will specify an intermediate variant.

Most models rotate the graphic around its own axis, and you can switch that off with the remote or the button on the unit. Image size has no adjustment dial — it grows with distance. The standard lens adds 0.3 m of diameter per metre; wider lenses are available to order.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions that come up most often when choosing an outdoor GOBO projector.

Are outdoor GOBO projectors rainproof?

Yes. Housings with a high IP rating (IP65/IP66) are fully resistant to rain, snow, dust and temperature swings — the unit can run outdoors all year round.

Can I use a GOBO projector during the day?

Yes, although the effect is strongest after dark. For daytime use we specify higher-power, brighter models that cope with strong ambient light.

How do I change the projected image?

Swap the GOBO template, or in digital models upload new artwork by remote, Wi-Fi or the mobile app. It takes a moment.

Can I rent a GOBO projector for a one-off event?

Yes, we rent short and long term, installation included — ideal for events, festivals and trade fairs.

What distance and image size can the projection cover?

Range and image size depend on the power of the unit and its optics. We will match a model to your facade, square or required distance.

Do you handle installation and setup?

Yes. We install the unit, set focus and framing, and give a short handover on operating it.
